Australia to push for Antarctic reserve

Australia is joining France and the European Union in supporting a network of marine reserves fanning out from east Antarctica, as global ocean protection gains pace.
The reserves, covering 1.9 million square kilometres, mainly off the Australian Antarctic Territory, are likely to win approval at an international meeting in Hobart.
